SWEDISH SOCIAL DEMOCRACY AND THE VIETNAM - DiVA

The Socialist International has about 150 member (or associated) parties in 110 countries, of which many are electorally successful and quite a few control the government. What does social-democracy mean? A political theory advocating the use of democratic means to achieve a gradual transition from capitalism to socialism. Social democracy is a major political force and has been so for some time. However, this is not to say that it is the most powerful political movement.
